ROB THOMAS (MATCHBOX 20) GUEST STARS - Working together on a mission, Liv (Rose McIver), Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) and Major (Robert Buckley) crash Vaughn's (guest star Steven Weber) Super Max Rager party, where Rob Thomas (as himself) performs a song from his solo career. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) reaches out to Peyton (guest star Aly Michalka) for help, which does not sit well with Ravi (Rahul Kohli).

Michael Fields directed the episode written by Bob Dearden (#219).

I got behind on these, now I have the last 4 to watch.

Whoa, that was the hell of an exciting season finale. They managed to absolutely match last year's season finale, which already was beyond great ...
I'm really excited about this show ... after all what happened, how am I supposed to wait that long for season three ...
And let's be honest, I'd trade any more iZombie season for every last TWD or FTWD season ... yeah!  
I'm just sad, when I look at the numbers of iZombie and then have to realize, how much more viewers something like TWD and FTWD gets ... this is just unfair and annoying ... damn it ...

we pay for not being a ordinary boob .
It is rare I like a show that is real popular with neilsen crowd.
From 1980 to around 1998 I watched very little or no tv shows.
To me they all sucked and were corny.
That is still the case , but at least now some i find interesting.

Now I saw the last 3 shows last nite, and they were pretty good, I thought killing off max's daughter was
not smart, I kinda liked her.
Max, I hope he is gone now.

I am glad clive now knows the whole story.
To me this show isnt great, but it is cute, and well done for what it is.
It is what I call a dramedy, it isnt drama, and it isnt comedy, but a mix of both, which isnt going to get great ratings
because it is neither one.

I think it is stupid also to have liv look like she does, I guess that was the comic look, which is stupid
since she is a nice looking girl but they dont take advantage of that.

I was watching a older sci fi channel movie, it was pain killer jane, which was a comic movie.
They had emmanuel vaugier playing jane so I watched it cause I like her.
She looked good in the movie, and I was liking the movie, even though it was a sci fi channel movie which are usually real bad.
But then about half way thru they gave her the comic hair, and "look" and it was awful !!!!!!!!!

it was kinda funny but at same time irritating !
It was this short hair wig, and similar cut to liv on the show, and she went from eyecandy to awful !!

I had already accepted her as jane, and didnt need or want a comic "look"

I think if you cast a beautiful woman then let her be beautiful dont follow the book or comic, or anything else
and give her a "look" that detracts from her beauty.

Also WD is based on a comic but it doesnt look or feel like a comic, and they dont
flash scenes from wd comic.

This show does look and feel like a video comic and flashes comic scenes.
That will chase away a lot of nielsen viewers.

Part of WD's appeal is the stupid zombies, but I think at least part of it is the Drama
and character development, which they have done a good job with that.

And they know how to keep the neilsen crowd interested, and I dont know if they
are smart or just lucky there.
The neilsen crowd is not like you or me, but if you know what they like and give it to
them your show will be a hit.
if not your show will be low rated and or fail.

most showrunners, make a show they like, or the avg person would like, not realizing, that the ones to please are
that small number of neilsen people.

WD has done that, like no other show, the ratings have gone up not down, which is
very very rare.
Is it a great show, or the best one?? no but the nielsen crowd likes it like no other show.

Well, the thing for me with iZombie is, that it is extremely entertaining. There hasn't been a single episode, that I actually considered as wasted time, it was always at least some nice 40 minutes of entertainment. And both season finales (I still get excited, when I think of the fantastic season 1 finale!) were outstanding. The whole cast is very likeable and talented (not to mention that Rose is the incarnation of cuteness), the dialogues are witty, full of nice one-liners and finally the story is far more interesting than like the simple, but brutally repeating pattern of TWD. Seriously, just look at the dialogues of some TWD episodes, compared to that the iZombie dialogues are elaborated art for sure ...
BTW, I like the look of Liv ... just cuteness all over ... and how Rose delivers all the different characters from the different brains she has eaten, is just amazing and matches Tatjana Maslany's great work in Orphan Black.

Well we should get a S3 and if that happens they will get a S4 and maybe 5.
For more than that the ratings would have to improve.

One thing about the flash being a success in ratings is that it lifts the bar for other
CW shows, and they will no longer be satsified with shows that are below the 1.0
demo.

Flash makes shows that have .05 or lower look bad.
So they will cancel some of those shows, and do new ones hoping for another flash or arrow.

I zombie is a well done show but that doesnt matter if ratings are not good enough.
