I wonder if the guy who was supposed to help her , did the opposite
to protect his son??

I am disappointed by the death, why even show the storyline in Russia if they were just gonna kill her.

did you want a happy ending for her?

I always liked nina for 3 reasons,
1. she is eye candy, I like looking at her
2. her acting is very good, I always feel like I am seeing nina, not someone playing nina.
3.her character was basically a sweet girl and good person who worked for cold and evil people.

I dont know why writers did this, maybe it was just for shock value, and to show how low the russians were
at that time.

They showed her story so you would be hoping she gets out of trouble, and then boom they kill her!

I think the dad when his son wanted to talk to her, decided to just have her killed to avoid any chance
his son might be linked with her.

Yea, I did like her, I wish she would have defected in season 2, I guess you are right though, they just wanted to show how brutal Russia was back then.

Well the thing is no one cared about her and she was expendable as were most russians.

olegs father made a call and made a deal to kill her and just get rid of her,
as he saw her as a problem and a threat to him and his son.

So they probably were not going to kill her, but his influence was used to kill her
instead of save her.

so maybe she turns up in another show I can or do watch.
She was in another show I watch, in a guest role, but she didnt look as good
as in this show.

I've started to watch season 4 now from episode 2 on (I watched ep 1 already in March, but stopped then because of too little time). Might be a better show for binge watching anyways ...

But yeah, Nina's execution was absolutely brutal and shocking ... just extinguished like some bug ...
I just thought about how many countless lives were and still are wasted like that all the time in human history on all sides ... what an utter madness of our so-called "humanity" ...

yeah it is a waste, many times that is the fate of the "better" people.

For nina at least it was quick.
