"Mors Praematura" - Freed from her psych ward confinement, Root receives a directive from The Machine that requires Shaw's assistance - by any means necessary - and takes extreme measures to gain her compliance. and Root finally hand-cuffed? ............yeah that was cool, she knew the bad guy would come out and that shaw would take care of him.
I only watched this ep live, so need to watch a 2nd time.
I liked it, I am curious about the spaghetti blow torch????
I loved how the machine directed root and how that part of the show played out, and how the 2 parts came together. the writers did a good job with this.
the only thing is I wonder if the machine wants root locked up at headquarters !
Harold says she may have wound up right where the machine wants her, and maybe she now slowy
becomes part of the team?
either that or this is a way of her having more screen time. 
the young cop working with carter turns out to be not such a bad guy, and he isnt too thrilled with HR anymore.
I love the root character so I enjoyed this ep a lot.
harold also questioned the idea of calling the machine a "she".

Well, what can I say ... this was another amazing PoI ep!

„Shaw.“ / „Reese.“ / „Got to save somebody.“ / „Know the feeling.“  

PoI is so much fun to watch, I'm always just sitting there enjoying it like no other show so far this season.
And imho it becomes clearer with every ep that is was a brilliant idea to introduce Shaw and Root and bring in some fresh dynamic.
I'm not getting why there's quite agressive hostility from some fans against these two characters. I cannot imagine at all that these new main characters are to blame for the decline of the season 3 demo ratings. No way ....!
I think the younger demo just cannot or doesn't want to follow the more and more complex plots. They are too distracted by playing on their smart phones all day long ...

BTW, introducing the "third category missions" - "self-preservation" of The Machine (?!) - will get us very, very interesting developments ...
And we will certainly see more of Vigilance.

the one forum I went to did not like shaw as she was upstaging reese who was their fav.
New characters take time away from the old ones (roy??) and so If some liked the show the way it was with fusco carter and reese and finch, then these new regular additions might not be liked, and if the people who dont like them are forum people and very vocal, then it makes it seem like a lot of people, but really it is a small group. Not many neilsen people go to forums In all your forum time how many have said they have a nielsen box?

The ratings thing is moving the show from thursday, and moving it to a later timeslot.
The way I see it , it is stupid to move a successful show, they did this with mentalist and POI and on both shows the ratings went down after the move
I am going to watch the show a 2nd time tonight, I got a 720p version, and I only saw it live so far and missed a few things.

Saw it again, and they had a oxygen tank and some spaghetti wrapped in foil to make a blow torch!
i wonder if that would work?
I also wonder how root will get out of the cage, they have her locked up good!
